Andrea provided a beautiful balance of support along with the drive to help me accomplish my goals.  She created a space for me to be accountable, yet when emotional blocks came up along the way, she was always ready to provide support around my “stuff.”  She is extremely intuitive and seemed to know what was needed just at the right time.

What makes her program different from the other ones I have taken (and God knows I have taken quite a few) is that while working with her, I began to see — early on in our relationship — how the vision of my my business might actually work.  After all the frustration, and blocks, both due to my personal limiting beliefs and due to the lack of real coaching in the other programs, seeing the “light at the end of the tunnel” has been an exhilarating joy.

Andrea’s advice to go through the Book Your Self Solid® exercises was just what I needed. I spent hours soul searching, reflecting and being honest with myself. I love that Andrea is Book Yourself Solid Certified, because this model really speaks to me. The process helped me understand and overcome the ambiguities and competing intentions — the reasons I was stuck myself and not moving forward. The Book Yourself Solid® System has been immensely helpful. The Sales Cycle process and all the self-promotion strategies are extremely valuable.  The workbook questions are a great exercise in getting you to think everything out.  Even when some of them felt inapplicable or irrelevant to me, I still think the process they put me through was responsible for my occasional “outside-the-box” creative sparks. I think one of its most significant contributions to my marketing has been in helping me identify my ideal client for the Compelling Speaker Certification. This shapes everything I do going forward!

The weekly sessions with Andrea have been nothing short of a godsend for me.  To have someone to talk things out with, someone who “gets” what I’m trying to do, who has been able to offer concrete, specific, actionable steps and suggestions—I’ve never had this since I’ve had my own business.  It’s been invaluable to have someone lead me through my own thought processes—kind of like a guide through the swamp so I don’t get stuck in my own quicksand!  And then to have that person be someone warm and funny whom I can connect with on other levels besides business—what a bonus!

Andrea is a very skilled listener. She has a unique ability to guide the coaching process without dominating; she went where we needed to go, even if it was off topic or timing. I valued that she heard me when I was stuck or still considering how information affected my practice, and was never critical of my pace. I could tell she was more concerned that I get the support I needed than to rigidly follow a set format. Andrea coached me one-on-one each week throughout the course.  This was especially helpful since the Book Yourself Solid® course is geared more toward entrepreneurs (and I am in direct sales….I am a small business owner but our model is different and I was beginning to struggle with how what we were learning applied for me).

She truly helped me to convert what we were learning into usable information that applied to my business.  She is absolutely wonderful…so personable…so caring and willing to help me in whatever ways she could.  I know that my experience with the entire course was better with her guidance.  I could not have asked for more!
